Logo assets

Use SVG files whenever the destination supports them. SVG artwork stays sharp at every size. Use the PNG mark only when a platform requires a raster image.

Logo use

  • Use the full wordmark when Mermail needs to be identified by name.
  • Use the standalone mark for square placements, avatars, app tiles, and small layouts where the Mermail name already appears nearby.
  • Keep the artwork’s original aspect ratio. Never stretch, squash, crop, rotate, recolor, outline, or add effects to it.
  • Leave clear space around the artwork equal to at least 25% of its height.
  • Keep the wordmark at least 120 px wide and the standalone mark at least 24 px wide in digital layouts.
  • Place the black wordmark on white or another light, uncluttered background. Use the standalone mark when the full wordmark would not have enough contrast.
Do not recreate the wordmark with typed text. The letterforms and spacing are part of the supplied artwork.

  • Use Mermail cyan for brand accents, controls, and graphic details.
  • Use Accessible teal for links, text, and controls on light backgrounds.
  • Use Mermail ink for primary text and dark surfaces.
  • Use White and Soft canvas for light backgrounds and breathing room.
  • Keep the original colors embedded in each supplied logo file. Do not replace them with nearby palette values.

Typography

Mermail uses Manrope for product and marketing text. Use a system sans-serif fallback when Manrope is unavailable.
Use clear sentence-case headings, short paragraphs, and direct language. Write the product name as Mermail with a capital M. Do not write MerMail, MERMAIL, or mermail in prose.

Accessibility

  • Provide descriptive alternative text when the logo communicates identity. Use empty alternative text when the same nearby text already says “Mermail.”
  • Do not use Mermail cyan as body text on a white background. Use Mermail ink for readable text and reserve cyan for accents or surfaces.
  • Check foreground and background contrast in the final placement. Do not place the logo over busy imagery or a color that obscures its shape.
  • Preserve enough clear space and size for the mark to remain recognizable at the final display resolution.
