A workspace is the ownership boundary for Mermail resources. It groups mailboxes, members, custom domains, billing, storage settings, and usage.
What belongs to a workspace
- Mailboxes and their email data.
- Workspace members and roles.
- Pending invites.
- Workspace storage access.
- Custom email domains.
- Billing subscription state.
- Email and storage usage.
Roles
Workspace actions require an authenticated app session. Some actions, such as custom-domain setup, storage configuration, member management, and billing changes, require an admin role in the workspace.
Keep one workspace per team or customer deployment. This makes storage, billing, and mailbox access easier to reason about.
Plan limits
Plan limits apply at the workspace level.
